The PA will have to yield to pressure

As part of a dialogue in Bitterlemons on the question of whether peace negotiations will resume, Sami Abdel Shafi argues that without international intervention the Palestinians will have to participate in negotations that will lead nowhere.

"Thus the PA will not be able to resist pressure to return to a process that will lead nowhere as long as Israeli policy remains unchanged and the international community continues to be a shy spectator."
